I bought a Dell M1710 laptop to run FS9 during wet moments whilst on holiday in Cumbria & have just added FSX. With very high settings it is running as smooth as silk. This morning I had a quick fly & was horrifed to find FPS down in the 5 or 6 range & the graphics were awful. The same was true for FS9. HELP I thought

.....then I remembered it was running on battery power. As soon as I plugged into the mains supply, FPS shot up to 29 - 40 & both sims were as smooth as ever!!! So - always plug your laptop into the mains for flight sim!!! ::)
