There are no weapons in FSX.
Your aircraft may have what look like weapons in its model, but this will never really work.

You have purchased the wrong Flight Simulator...

...!!
FSX is a
Civilian Flight Simulator....

...!
What you should have purchased, to be able to bomb and shoot everything in sight, is....
....Combat Flight Simulator... [smiley=evil.gif]...!!

FS 2004 is my preferred, safe Forum...

...!
This FSX Forum is much too dangerous, most of the time...

LOL...

Paul....escaping back to FS 2004....very quickly... 8-)...!

Yeah, you can't use any weapons in FSX

but I know one way to. download the sweet AH-64 apache in the FSX helos section. put it in your folder, put the effects in the effects folder, and the gauges into the gauges folder....so on and so forth. If you do it right, and you go into the VC, you should see switches to fire hellfires (rockets) and the chain gun. Note that these effects are purely effects, and they wont do any damage to anything.

In FSX you can drop flour bombs [or modifications of them], but to get the actual effects of GUNFIRE or firing missiles from an F-15 is still beyond the control of the FS series.

bombs, e.g. flour bomb mission, fine, u can do that.
but there are absolutely no weapons in FSX, even if they r just fx files.
if u want weapons, then IL2, LOMAC, or CFS3 are some of the whole load of combat flightsims out there.

I think what he means is the weapons effects that come with certain aircraft. If you check the readme file with the aircraft it will explain how to do things

Hopefully it will stay that way. Although I predominantly fly WWII military aircraft, I think that militarizing FS would be a sad mistake. First and foremost, FS is about the joy of flying; there are plenty of other sims out there that allow you to kill to your little hearts desire. The day FS starts being about anything OTHER than the joy of flying, I'm outta here...

I've got tone on Fozzers 152.
Fox 2, Fox 2! ;)
An-225 - low & slow, flying an F-16 over SoCal

And An-225 lowers the ramp and FOzzer's 152 comes in for a perfect landing inside....
(presuming that the AN225 can fly slower than Fozzer's top speed!)

An-225's/F-16's have huge ramps now?
