Hi
Is there any screnery that replicates the early 1900's. I like to fly very early planes and apprporate screnery would be a great plus.
thanks Barry

i posted a similar question a couple of days ago about scenery from the 1930s and 40s and pretty much was told that it would take an entire group of people to put something like that together... possible... but very time consuming and difficult.

A few versions back (FS2000?), MS tried to implement the fourth dimension: time. You were actually able to set the virtual year back. They had as a working example the Berlin Wall. When you set the year before they pulled it down, you see the wall and when you set the year after, well evidently then you don't. One version later they scrapped that feature. (I wonder how they would have handled the WTC situation in FS9 with that feature.)
With this feature you could have started your flights from Chicago Meiggs airport again which I would have liked, because it acted as the ultimate benchmark for me, even since FS2 on the Commodere 64, that was my home airport and I still miss it.
But yeah, if they would still have that time thing then we would see 20 instead of 2 DVD's for FSX.
