Has anyone tried fsx on vista 32bit and 64bit and noticed any difference was thinking of reformatting and giving it a try now that there are a lot more drivers around now, dont want to wast time if it does not make any difference tho.

I can't entirely speak to this. I too am curious if I got the right info. When I was building my system I asked the exact same question in another group. I was told that it would lock up on occasion in the 64 bit version of Vista. So I bought the 32 bit. Which is somewhat depressing. I was hoping to run it on 64, but according to the advice I recieved I was told it was not designed to support 64.

It definately works on 64 bit Vista as well as 32 bit, I`ve used both. I got slightly higher numbers on 64 bit and it felt smoother. Didn`t test it long enough to comment further though as the 64 bit I bought for another machine. This one now has the 32 bit Vista I got as a free upgrade. Numbers are really good, but suffering the twitch in the screen that most are talking of. Also, third party aircraft jump around a bit, this has been reported. If it keeps up for too long I might go back to pre SP1. Numbers were not too bad, not as high but far smoother and no third party problems. Sometimes it feels like the `numbers have been fixed to show higher` only.
