Hi:

I have FS 2004 and enjoy it quite alot. I would like to buy FSX Delux but was told the system requirements are huge.

Would it work on my system?

AMD 64 bit duel processor 3800+
2 gig DDR2 RAM 667Mhz
80Gig SATA HHD drive
ATI Radeon 9600 PRO 128Mb 400 MHZ
24 Bit Audigy Value Sound Card
operating system: XP Home

And what would be the best settings for such system. I dont have $ to upgrade anytime soon and would not want to buy the game if it wont work on my system.

Thanking helpers in advance.

And great site :)

Be careful with some graphics settings. The 9600Pro is one bad card (even worse than its predecessor).

I have the 3800+, 160 gig sata, 2 gig ddr2 memory, geforce 7600GT and MCE 2005, ran perfect.  Was waiting for Vista 32 bit to get here and temporarily loaded 64 bit Vista from my other puter, ran perfect, even with SP1.  32 bit Vista arrived, runs perfect.  Excellent FPS and got my third party traffic, CLS DC10 and Flying Club X running on it.  Just added a few minor tweaks to FSX and SP1 to get them running as I wish.  I`d just upgrade the Video card if I were you, as an example I`ve seen the 7600GT at around
