Ultimate Defrag

Top of the day to all. I saw in the computer pilot magazine ultimate defrag by disktrix. Is it worth buying and does improve frame rate? Thanks for any reply

Any kind of defrag will help some what. The thing about this program is you can sort your files in such a way that the files you will use the most are closer to the center where they will be read faster. SO it will help a little more than just a regular defrag. I would not count on it to make a drastic difference though maybe a 10 to 15 % jump and that might be a little high.  8-)

after a defrag, should you reboot?

I installed a WOAI military package, then defragged (first time in a long time), started the game (no restart), and I seem to have lost some of the preview pics of the planes...think reboot would fix this?

Its not a big deal, cause the planes still work fine, just can't see them in the preview.
