Realistic Joystick settings?

Hello everyone,

I'm wondering about what kind of joystick settings I should be using. With the default settings if I gently nudge the stick in a given direction, the airplane responds as if I'd just yanked the stick in that direction. For example, while flying the Extra 300, I barely have to move the stick at all to do insane stunts - I doubt this is the case in the actual aircraft. I noticed that slight movements of the stick are showing as full movements of the controls in the cockpit of the aircraft. I've tried playing around with various settings, and I've gotten it so that it's easier to control the Extra 300, but I'd still like to have it more realistic. Also, I have no idea what null zone means. If someone could explain this to me, I'd really appreciate it.

Regards,
Shawn

Null zone = dead zone.  The area in the middle of the axis where nothing happens.  I like a little dead zone on my control axes just so the game ignores unintended movements, and I leave the null zones of my throttle and such at zero.

As far as axis sensitivity goes, I like them set in the middle.  The 300 is a touchy aircraft so the actions of the aircraft will be much quicker than those of an airliner.

Both the sensitivity and null zone settings are going to be set up for what feels best to the user with their hardware.
