Suddely, the only texture that will load for the mooney is the black and white

This is an occasional glitch, often remedied as follows.  Load the Mooney, then open the file menu whilst still in the same scenario, load a 737 or a 747 as the aircraft.  Then immediately switch the aircraft back to the Mooney.  This should fix it.  If it doesn`t then the Mooney collection is corrupted.

This is exactly what happens.....  You may have 14 different textures, the base aircraft is a white one.  No matter which aircraft texture you select, all you get is the white one.  Each aircraft set defaults to the base aircraft when there is a problem (ie a glitch) because a file instructs them to do so.  When loading say a 737 or a 747, the colours (ie textures) change, then swap back to the Mooney and the textures kick right back in how they should do.

Yours might be a different problem, but try this anyway and see what happens.  If it doesn`t work then you need to look elsewhere.  If it does work then its not necessarily SP1 as this problem existed pre SP1.......
