A couple of rookie issues!

I have a couple of issues with my FSX right now.

First off, my logbook has decided to stop tracking all of my landings and therefore I am now getting any records of the flight I have been doing.  Anything that I can do to fix that?

Secondly, I have been starting to get a grasp at ILS approaches.  I have started to try using the autopilot for handling the approaches.  It goes well in all of the planes that I have tried with the exception of the airbuses that I have.  The plane captures the ILS and lines up well, but when it captures the glideslope, the altitude hold comes off and the plane goes up for a bit and then goes down and then can't get the glideslope from above.  Any ideas?  Something I am doing wrong?  My speed is aroung 190 to 200.

Thanks for any help!

Mark

I know there are some fixes out there for the logbook issue. This is a recurring problem for a lot of people.

I actually haven't tried an airbus on the ILS, but my approach speeds for ILS capture are usually around 170 KIAS for the horizontal and then down to 160 KIAS for the vertical on average. I've seen some other posts from people having problems with the airbus(s) as well when it comes to the ILS.

Keep monitoring your post, as there will be some experts responding to this soon.

slow your speeds to arround 155 or 160 depending on the weight of your aircraft and the make...in the refrence section of the aircraft notes it will tell you the aproproate approach speeds...that shold help you a bit
