i hav an MS Sidewinder ForceFeedback 2  -  sadly not FSX yet...

i remember, when i flew with forcefeedback in FS9, it was fun, but not really enjoyable.  it seemed too fake, and about the only time it seemed remotely real, was when i crashed.

once i get FSX, i might try the forcefeedback thing again, but the motors in the joystick seem to have gotten weaker and weaker throughout the years, so it might not be worth it.

good luck with getting any good info...

yea i wish my Saitek Cyborg Force was more powerful. Then i could pretend i was in one of those movies with the plane full of passangers in a death dive towards the ground, both pilot and copilot trying to pull back on the stick with all their strength to no avail.  ;D ;D ;D

yah, that'd be so cool.

a better FF system would be to use a worm drive for the axes...

that way, when the user tries to pull back, with no FF turned on, it'll detect any strain, and tell the motors to go with the flow.  Then, when there is force feedback input, depending on the strain that the user is pulling on the stick, the motors can either loosten up, or lock in place. ;)

that'd be great.

maybe ill tell Saitek, or develope it myself, and then sell it to Saitek... :D
