Hey guys iam not shure if this is aupposed to be here but it has to do with panels so..... But anyway i downloaded this airplane http://www.simviation.com/fsxmilitary3.htm from this site , i installed it and everything no problem. But when i shutdown the engines they wont start up again! Its not a huge problem but i fly for 10 hours and when i land to refuel i like to turn the engines off and go do something else ya know. anyhelp would be very much appreciated.
The engine start code for FSX has changed since FS9. I've had to modify the panels of several
aircraft to get the engines to start correctly from a complete shutdown.
Even some of the FSX default aircraft will not start if your default flight is "cold & dark".
You have to resort to CTL+E to get them running. After that, you can shut them down
and restart them fine. I believe that sisuation has to do with fuel valves and the lack of
panel controls for changing them.
I haven't downloaded this "FSX update" of the P-3 but if it, like it's FS9 counterpart,
has all the gauges contained in CAB files then it's pretty easy to make the necessary
modifications to the starters. There are posts on various forums that address the
FSX starter problem.
