There is allegedly a problem in Vista with minimising FSX or so I heard, not a problem on mine.  This again allegedly is being worked on.  Just try taking it off `full screen` so its in windows mode, make the adjustments, ok it/them and then put the full screen mode back on.  See if that makes a difference as a possible temporary fix.

It sounds like you may have some video card issues, might be time to try an alternative driver.

It is probably not helpful, but I am running FSX on Vista Home Premium without any problems of that sort. i have a severe problem with a second screen running off the second outlet of the video card,  it is totally unstable, but changing configurations and saving settings has created no problems in either full screen or windowed mode.

Take it off full screen, then immediately put it back on full screen whilst in game.  Its known about and being worked on as we speak.

I`m not on my own then, mine is now doing that but no changes.  Been all around the settings and nothing has altered but they refuse to work no matter where the aircraft is placed.  It was working then just suddenly stopped doing it.

Thanks for the info guys!  The jetway's don't work because we are using addon planes, if you
use microsoft default aircraft the jetways will work, you need to edit the aircraft cfg file, not
sure what lines to put but i would like to find out.

Sorry, I beg to differ.  If the texture of the new planes is in the same folder as the base plane (original FSX plane or new style download) then it will work off the existing aircraft.cfg and work from the [EXITS] section as is.

If it forms its own base plane and textures ( a new model you didn`t already have) then simply find the nearest plane in size and door location.  Copy the [EXITS] section to the new aircraft.cfg, try it then adjust the measurements in it to suit.

I use an AI package and all jetways worked aok prior to losing them overnight.  Now, IF the non working jetway was because of the above then at least you`re pointed in the right direction.  My problem was I downloaded Direct X 7th April Edition, Jetways stopped working after this.  The one that came out on 14th April or thereabouts does not cause the same problem.  I used restore to go back to around the 2nd April and all is now hunky dory.
