New Computer and Picture Breaking up

I now have my new computer.I have an ASUS P5N-E mobo, Core 2 Duo E6600 2.4 GHz CPU, OCZ (OCZ2P800GK) DDR2-800 PC2-6400 Platinum XTC 2 GB RAM and an ASUS EN7900GS nVidia GeForce 7900GS Chipset card.
My problem is when I open 2, 3,or 4 windows and drag them to my second monitor the windows break up. I found I can correct it by clicking on OPTIONS, SETTINGS, DISPLAY and then at the bottom is Filtering with four options. They are NONE, BILINEAR, TRILINEAR and ANISOTROPIC. No matter which one is in use I change to another one then when I close it, the windows are all fine. I can reshape them or move them with out problem. Is there a way I can "fix" this problem without going to "Options" each time?

If you have found something that fixes the problem to a degree, than my advice is that (if you feel comfortable) you should keep using your method.  As I tell everyone I talk to about semi-technical problems: I'm not an absolute pro.

Ok, heres the fix......  You turn off full screen, then turn on full screen, then drag the stuff to the second monitor.  Some have to turn off full screen, maximise the window, then turn to full screen again.  This problem is going to be fixed, this is my workaround for now.

2nd workaround, take it off full screen, open the items on the main screen, unlock them from the screen and move them to the second monitor.  Not as effective as they have a border (blue methinks) around them.

The first fix is the best, but should you go back to the flight planner whilst in game, the map, or to change the settings you will have to repeat the fix.  Turn off full screen, turn on full screen and move your stuff back to the second monitor.

Thanks for the information. I guess I'll just continue doing what I have been until the fix is done. I'm just happy to know it isn't my system but the programme.
