Not starting on Active Runway

Is there anyway within FSX that you can default to start at a gate or parking area with the aircraft totally shut down, rather than it defaulting to Active runway. I like to do the whole start up procedure for a little extra realism and it kills it starting with everything on and functional.
Obviously I know you could save a flight whilst the plane is at that status, but just wondered if you could get all flights to default to that status (apart from some missions that start in the air, can't say I fancy starting up a learjet on the way out of the sky).
Thanks in advance

Next time you fly... park at a gate, shut it all down and save as the default flight. That will take care of starting "cold". If you choose other than that airport for your next flight; as you're selecting it; there's a pull-down where you also select any runway, or gate/parking-spot.

What you want to do is when you select a airport if you look down toward the lower left hand corner you will see a window that has active runway in it click on this window to see a selection of parking places for that airport .[glow=yellow,2,300]NOTICE NOT ALL AIRPORTS HAVE PARKING SPACES ESPECIALLY THE SMALLER ONES[/glow] Once at a gate shut down every thing you want off then save the flight as the default flight . Then when you restart FSX you will be at that airport and gate in a cold and dark aircraft. 8-)

I always start with everything turned off too. I even open the door to get in and close it afterward, so sad!!!

Doh, OK, how stupid do I feel not noticing that Startat Point.
Aircraft is still running though. But better than starting on Active runway
Thanks
