Can any of you get in to flat spins with any of your fighters, because mine does not do that.

once in an F/A-18.

i was spinning spinning, spinning, spinning, etc...

any way, i turned off all my engines, put flaps to full, and held the rudder to turn right (i was spinning spinning anti-clockwise).  anyway, i started my engines (ctrl+e), and the left engine will start up first, at that point pushed my throttle to full power and the spin started to slow down.  i jiggled the stick abit and tipped my nose down, and presto!  i was no longer spinning spinning, spinning...

it was pretty cool.  annoying waiting for the other engine to start tho...

You'd need to find a model that is capable of spinning as FS doesn't like it but some kites are capable ;)

wow, u make it sound like spinning is rare...  in FS9, i could spin in an F-18, SR-71, F-16, and the glider (unbelievable, believe it).

it went like this: full throttle, climb climb climb!  at some point, the plane will be pointing up, and u can watch ur contrail trail upwards, meaning ur going down.  at some point there, i wouldnt be able to control the aircraft, and by chance, i would either stay that way, or spin.  (with the glider, i just slewed as high as i could ;D)

I managed to induce several controlled flat spins in the default Extra 300 on FSX. Pretty fun, really. ;D

I once got into a flat spin in a B-17......

That wasn't fun.

I litterally pulled out about 700 feet agl. :P

(the thing was, I took it up really high [using slew], which caused it too stall, and since I was in "space" my controll surfaces didn't do anything. eventually, I was spinning clockwise upside down in a B-17!) ;D
