Beaver crash at the fly in...

Postby Mobius » Thu Mar 01, 2007 1:55 am

Has anyone else noticed the beaver in the "Midwest Fly-in" mission? I just flew the mission again, and I took a couple of extra minutes flying around the area, and as I flew across the lake, I noticed there was a beaver flying around.  I went and landed at the airport to complete the mission, and as I taxied in towards the flight line, and I noticed the beaver again, but it looked like it was coming in to do a fly-over at the fly-in, which I figured was a part of the mission.  But, as it flew over the flight line, it kept getting lower and lower, until it descended behind a tent, and I saw it come out the other side, bouncing along the ground, until it crashed through a couple lines of parked aircraft, a fence, and finally came to a skidding stop on a road. :o  Here's the picture I took of where the Beaver ended up...

Haven't seen that, but seen similar with MyTrafficX.  There was a Beaver (Floats only) parked at an airport not far from Friday Harbour. ;)

I enjoy flying through the flocks of birds in that mission.  The old guy doesn't seem too happy about it, and you get to try to make it to the airport on no power...
