World Texture

I'm sure many of you have seen the new FSX Scenery download regarding improved landscape for Europe. I've done a couple of scenery downloads before involving Mesh10M but I've used the Add-on Scenery\scenery (.bgl files). This download however upoon unzipping appeared in .bmp format. The readme.txt stated to add all these files to the FSX\Scenery\world\texture. Before I jump into this has anyone installed any of these downloads yet. I'll back up the original files.

What's your question?
If it says "put 'em into [whatever folder]", just do it and overwrite the original files. No big deal in that.

My question? Has anyone experienced loading these files? Were there any concerns? I hope you understand that some of us are not too sure of ourselves regarding the subject. I think I'll wait for some other comments before I just "do it".

I am happy with those textures.
Look a few pages back in the screenshots forum. I posted a comparison between the original and the new textures.
