Fist of all, what are you trying to do?
By itself, the SDK is a collection of tools and documents, so it is not a "program" or "module" you can use. Are you trying to activate one of the modules (Scenery Object Placement tool, FX tool, etc?)

im struggling to death with this bloody sdk as well! >:(
ive changed the dll.xml files to disabled/false like instructed, and nothing works. im really disappointed because you would expect something like this to be user friendly but it appears a doctorate in computer science is required.
all i want to do, like drgnrdr is create a mission. and i can't do it! surely someone somewhere can help us? im just about ready to send my pc through the french windows :'(
please help us!

a) Did you run the ConfigSDK.exe in the SDK's main folder?
b) Try this for the module in the xml.dll:
- Code: Select all
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
Works for me for the TrafficToolbox.

yep tried that False etc code in the dll.xml file, still does nothing. i tried to run the configsdk.exe and just got an error message saying it could not be loaded. im really on the verge of giving up, and this whole palaver has really tarnished Flight Simulator in my eyes. before FSX i had FS2002 and it was brilliant, apart from a bit more detail i really couldnt fault it and i feel the hard earned cash ive spent on the deluxe edition of FSX was a complete and utter waste.
anybody else agree?
