Typo?

Ok, the info on the default A321 says crusing speed is 570kts. The speed indicator in the cockpit only goes upto 400, and I get overspeed when I hit 400. Is there a typo here or a programming error? I think its the former but I'm not sure.

It's nothing of those two.

The cruising speed is the ground speed, not the indicated airspeed.

Ah ok, so any way to check groundspeed while in the air?

You can go into the realism settings and "check"  Display True Airspeed, but that's no fun (or very realistic).

The GPS displays ground speed; But remember, that will only be true airspeed in zero wind.

The nav nisplay should display the ground speed, too.

You can tune the DME to the nearest VOR frequency.

You can tune the DME to the nearest VOR frequency.

That will give you an accurate ground speed, but only if you're flying directly  to/from the VOR/DME. Anything other than that and it's the fractional closure speed.
