Is there any way at all?
I flip the starters, have throttle at idle, open the crossfeed, use the fuel pump, fuel control is already open.
Can you start this plane manually in this game at all?
I can't start any jets I reckon, only the props.
I'm assuming that you saved your default flight as "cold & dark".
There are problems in FSX with many of the aircraft starter systems when
trying to start them using the panel switches. In most cases, you'll have
to revert to CTL+E ( ugh! ) to get them fired up. However, once you DO
start them in this manner, you can then shut them down and they will
re-start using the panel starters. Some essential variables are apparently
not controlable on many panels but CTL+E sets them correctly.
Here's what I've done, other than changing the starter code. Get your
default flight aircraft started with CTL+E, then shut it down and re-save
the flight as the default. That MAY allow you to then start the aircraft
using the panel controls on future flights.
On the 737-800, I think you have to call up the throttle quadrant window
and click on the fuel valve controls below the throttles. Once started by
this method, however, the "Start Valve Open" lights will remain on in the
EICAS display. ( using CTL+E they come on but extinguish after start ).
I modified my B737-800 code to get the engines to start from the overhead
switches.
