That damn black cursor in FSX, when used with Vista was driving me mad, mad I tell ee!  Right click in any open space on your desktop, from the resulting menu pick `Personalize`, then `mouse pointers`, take the tick out of the box next to `Enable Pointer Shadow`.  Et Voila!  The curs (or) of the black vista has now been lifted.  ;D

Where do you find the congifuration file to tweak the settings manually in Vista? FSX.CFG doesn't exist.  :-/

To cdsstudio:

In the searchbox of ''my computer'' type fsx
Make shure to ask to look in hiden files and system subfolders. As in XP, fsx.cfg is hiden.
Happy fliyng :)
