I just installed the IRIS Raptor. There is one tiny flaw, the afterburners are in the wrong place. Does anyone have any help for me? :-?

I've noticed this on their F-35 JSF too.

Another one over here. Someone (Bob Chicilo where are you?!?) will have to fix it...

If the afterburners use .fx files, their positions should be recorded in the "Lights" section of the aircraft's .cfg file. Make a backup copy, then open it up and look for something like this:
light.10 = 2, -26.12, -8.48, 0.10, fx_flankerburner // Eng1 Blueflame
light.11 = 2, -26.12, 8.48, 0.10, fx_flankerburner // Eng2 Blueflame
Mess around with the coordinates and the effect will be repositioned accordingly. Of course, this is considering the effects are created as mentioned above (I don't know of any other way to generate such effects).

The coordinates are used for a X,Y,Z grid.
So if you want to reposition them:
- Increase/decrease the first value (X axis) to move them forwards/backwards.
- Increase/decrease the second value (Y axis) to move them to the right/left.
- Increase/decrease the third value (Z axis) to move them up/down.
No need to consult an add-on designer for that.
Happy fiddling.

Take a pic of the plane and shrink it to 256x128 (not sure if the game does it for you) and name it thumbnail.jpg, and place it in the plane's texture folder.
no you don't need to resize them, All I do is use Fraps to save a jpeg then go in and move it to the airplane file and change the name.

Or just use the thumbnail generator from over at Alpha Victor Sierra India Mike.
