I recall reading somewhere, i believe flightsim.com's forums, that stated one of the main factors that slows FSX down the most was RAM. I can bet that in the least, RAM will reduce the horrid stutters and the extra load time as well. I have tried the demo on my laptop, which is a pentium M 1.7 ghz rated 2.59 ghz, with 512 megs of ram, and a geforce go 6200 at 256 meg. I managed to run the thing alright at medium - medium high surprisingly, and its not that my framerates were slow, there were times where i peaked it at 20 fps, but the main thing for me was stutters and load times. My laptop is not up to bar to gaming for obvious reasons, and having the ole "occasional gamer" video never helps much, but in this case, it seems like it was not the major slowdown. Theres probably other reasons as well, but I don't have FSX, so I would not know. In the meantime, i prefer sticking to my humble FS9 on this ole office rig, since theres not much gain in upgrading a laptop if its upgradable by much
