Short S.45 Solent takeoff problems
Posted: Tue Jan 30, 2007 4:59 pmfor some reason i cant take off in the Short S.45 Solent. even at full throttle it wont take off. and yes im trying to take off in water. any help?

2 notches of flap and take off into the wind. Don't put on too much up trim or when she unsticks she'll go nose up a bit quick.

Shift+Z will give you that info in a text line at the top of the screen.
When you get it moving you sort of have to nose down and get the floats onto the bow wave as such, stops a lot of drag and gets you moving.
As diddley said, you have to fly it.
