FSX pilots scared to melt in rain?!

;D

anyone notice that when you are on the ramp and it is raining that if you press Shift+E to open the exit the door opens normally but then suddenly slams shut the second it fully opens.

guess this is a minor glitch. can anyone else replicate this. i thought it was more funny than annoying.

I landed a beech baron in the rain and opened the exit and it slammed shut the minute it opened up... tried it in a Cessna 172 to the same effect.

guess the pilot guy is scared he will get wet!

what plane are you using? i just tried this in both winter snowstorm and basically a hurricane and it worked fine

did it with the baron and the 172 - didnt try it with any other aircraft

i was using TrackIR at the time - perhaps it had something to do with it... interestingly enough the doors worked fine with NO precip. i had visibility set to 5 miles with light rain.

Door fully opens then slams shut really fast.

figured it out...

not wind, not rain and had nothing to do with anything running in the background.

it seems that anywhere on the airport i open the exits everything is fine, but if the aircraft is parked in front of a GA fuel pump the door opens and then as soon as it fully opens it slams shut.

guess he saw the fuel bill  ::)
