OK first off, this is not a thread where you come crying to us about how slow your flight sim is and then start bashing Microsoft. Each member should report the bugs they have had with FSX so far. I will edit and update the list so that the many add-on developers on this site (Or Microsoft) can fix them.
Here it is:
~Logbook no longer records flights.
~In spot view (NOT locked spot view) the viewpoint moves in and is stuck there, zooming out giving it a fisheye effect.
~Certain aircraft load textures in the aircraft select screen and the aircraft select box then goes white. So far this appears to be because of the light bloom.
~Grumman Goose tips over to one side even with floats deployed.
~FSX will no longer start.
~UI Interface Music does not play even with the checkbox ticked.
~Even with AA on (Both in-game and video card settings) objects appear as if you have it disabled. At the moment fixed by unticking/ticking AA in the in game settings.
~Airbus A321, LITERALLY, FALLS out of the sky if engines are turned off in mid-air.
Thats all for now. Start adding!

Logbook no longer records flights.
It's under the Pilot records tab in the game.
In spot view (NOT locked spot view) the viewpoint moves in and is stuck there, zooming out giving it a fisheye effect.
I've only had this happen when I'm to close to the aircraft and I try to pna without zooming out a bit.
Certain aircraft load textures in the aircraft select screen and the aircraft select box then goes white.
This would be your graphics card frying.
FSX will no longer start.
This would be a problem on your system, probably with to little RAM or a bad graphics card.
UI Interface Music does not play even with the checkbox ticked.
Your sound card problem.
Even with AA on (Both in-game and video card settings) objects appear as if you have it disabled. At the moment fixed by unticking/ticking AA in the in game settings.
Your graphics card again.
I would try getting some upgrades to the computer.

The default 747's and Bombardiers are all white: no textures.
The wing parts on the default 747's are detached from the aircraft.
ALL OTHER aircraft are fine, so I would assume not a graphic card problem?

As far as I know, the only bugs are the Airbus rudder not working in flight, and the water textures not displaying properly in some areas (which has been fixed already). It seems all other problems are caused by settings being set too high for people's computers to handle.

Ravang, I KNOW where the logbook is. HOWEVER there is a problem where it just stops recording my flights. I have fixed the "will no longer start problem". However some people still experience it. My UI music comes on 95% of the time. I think its a bug not my sound card. The white box problem I have only experienced with Commercial Level Simulations aircraft. Now don't get me wrong I LOVE FSX. However every piece of software has bugs and you have to accept that. ;)

If you are the only one who experiences it though, it is not a bug in the software, it is a bug in your hardware. I've never had any of the problems you are talking about, and this is one of the first times I have heard of them.

Hello all. I'm new to FS so forgive me if I am asking a stupid question.
I am working my way through the lessons and I can't get past Student Lesson 3 - climbs and decents without crashing into the mountain placed in front of you when the training starts. The training program doesn't allow you to turn and it shuts the training off if you climb (fail to keep to the 'right' altitude). I can't finish the training fast enough, can't turn, and can't climb. Is this simply bad planing by FS or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks

I just ran lesson 3, and it's as finnicky as I remember, all the way back to FS2002.
I managed to get to the descent part and executed it perfectly and then Rod just stopped talking ..lol (maybe that's how it ends ? )
Anyway.. just listen to him carefully. At the beginning, he's flying, so don't try to do anything yourself, until he tells you to. If you're still wrestling with putting all together quickly enough to keep Rod from getting impatient (or crashing into mountains), you need to practice on your own..
Give yourself heading/airspeed/altitude targets an keep practicing hitting and holding them.. Then go back to the lessons..
Honestly though ? I think the lessons are too buggy. I wouldn't spent too much time with them.

Nope, they are not. This is the Learjet if you have a TrackIR and stick your head around the pilot's chair. The cockpit door is open and there is no... aircraft. You can only see this if you have a TrackIR. If you use panview from within the pilot's chair, you don't see that far into the cockpit. But the navigation and anti-collision lights are highy detailed modeled... LOL.

Some are flying rockets since they don't even have wings (visible if you stick your head outside the cockpit window with a TrackIR)...

Many thanks to all for the replies regarding my 747 and Bombardier problems! Maybe not an FSX bug, but a settings / graphic problem instead? I'll keep playing around with the settings and see what happens. Just thought it strange that it was ONLY THOSE 2 AIRCRAFT.....and I have almost 200 aircraft in my inventory.
Regards and Thanks,
NIGEL

I don't have TrackIR and I got those same views in the LEAR.
Use the keyboard commands in the software and shift you POV, and you will can see the missing textures. (Or rather, notice they are not there...)
In most aircraft they solve the problem of interior views by closing the cockpit door.
I cannot imagine how hard this would creep if you were able to have a full interior view while in VC.
Are there any planes with such a setup in VC? I would be interested in trying just to see if it causes more lag.
