2 really quick questions

Well, hopefully anyway.

OK, how do I get the reverse thrust to work?  I'm using the CH Products Yoke/Rudder pedals and I can't find anything in the key lists that indicates how to do reverse thrust.  I pull the throttles back to idle and then keep my finger on F2--this always worked just fine on FS9 but now it keeps jumping back and forth, never actually getting to full reverse.

Also, how do you turn off those stupid flying tips??  They keep popping up every time I don't have my mixture set just perfect.  Quite annoying.

Thanks and I hope they're easy problems. lol

Reverse may not work if you throttle is not set to the real minimum.
Your throttle may not reach the real minimum if the calibration of your joystick is not 100% OK.
To ensure everything, don't touch your throttle axis at all, then press F1 to bring the throttle to the real minimum, then start to press (and maintain) F2 to enable and increase the reverse thrust. :)
I have experienced that in FS9.

I think Daube has hit this one on the head. I had the same problem in FS9. Some joysticks do not want to calibrate 100% so when you throttle back it does not take the throttles all the way to minimum so when you press f2 the throttles jump back & forth from reverse to minimum. What I do now is throttle back then press f1 then press f2 that seems to work fine for me. You can allways chek reverse even with the engines not running. I am not 100% sure why this problem pops up it might have something to do with the drivers for the joystick? 8-)

If you have that problem then install the CH control manager, this should calibrate it good.
