Do I need the CD in my PC to run  FSX?

I had always thought not, and there's no reference ito this in the supplied handbook, but after a trouble-free month of flying my FSX has taken to crashing when I change airfields, and visiting the Microsoft FSX website for the first time, I find FSX listed among the MS games which do demand the CD. Could that be the cause of my problem? Do you guys use the CD??

Just wondering...how did you install FSX without the cd?

I said 'to run,' not 'to install.'

If you have activated your FSX, then you do not have to use the CD to run FSX  :D
