This happens in two cases:
- no more free video memory
- not enough time to display precise textures.

I would think the second cause is your problem. Most likely, if you hit Pause and wait long enough, you will finally get some precise textures on the ground. The fiber_blabla limits the time spent by your CPU for scenery matters, if you limit too much, you get limited scenery :)

I know where you're getting this, as I've encountered that as well, but it's just... different.  It'll be fine for the whole flight (in this instance) and right then and there, the texturing just craps out...I'll do the display and hit ok, it'll be back to normal for about a second, and then it crapped out again.   I haven't had the time to try it again, but I assume it'll be fine; but I really don't want to run into this issue again  :-/

Turn your MIPS and texture quality to high quality. If that dosn't help I THINK you're outa texture memory. Turn down texture heavy settings like ground resolution ;)

Beleive it or not this also happened with fs9 AND fs8.

Yes it happened several times to me on FS9 with my old graphic card.
