Wow!

I am in utter amazement right now.  I just got a new monitor, 19" widescreen LCD, and the sim looks a million times better and even feels like its running smoother.  I think its because im using a higher refresh rate, but whatever it is I definately feel like the sim is just better now.  Im just so happy and shocked that I had to post lol.

I need to see what FS9 looks like with this thing....

Did you tweak the FSX CFG to run in widescreen? Get a heck of a lot more view area that way.... at least for me and my 19 inch wide.... I just need a good graphics card to run the 1440X900 resolution (The max and only one that propperly runs on my monitor)

I love my widesreen, got it almost dirt cheap when I bought this computer (10 bucks more than the 17 inch normal LCD)

Took me searching through 15-20 pages of the forum (old links dont work lol) okay heres the tweak here

If you ask me whoever found this, They deserve a nice reward lol.... Trust me, you'll see more of the VC when your flying at defualt zoom... makes it a lot more realistic! Give it a try.

Cheers, Gunny

FS9 is fine by normal because your usually running just 2d panels unlike FSX..... Remember the first time I fired up FS9 with this monitor.... I could read the altimeter 20-30 feet away!
