FSX tree densities...

I was wondering if there was a FSX CFG tweak somewhere to reduce the tree density?
On my system everything runs smooth until a large forest comes into sight.  :o
I know i could just reduce the autogen level in the settings, but i dont want to loose any houses or buildings, thats why I'm asking for a CFG tweak if there is one...
