FSX Update Patch

Couple of questions here. If I install the FSX Scenery patch from MS, should I reset all of my tweaks back to the default settings prior to doing this; also should I deactivate/uninstall my addon scenery files, especially the Megascenery? Then should I restore back to the way I have it now? Will this make a difference (e.g. botch up my program) since I have FSX running pretty well now with an additional thirty aircraft that I've already added? Has anyone done this yet, and has it made any improvement in your grayed-out scenery areas (I don't have that problem) or anything else like the tweaks that you have on your system? I guess this is more than a couple questions.........sorry about that, and thanks ahead for any assistance.

Thanks, I guess I'll do the same thing. If MS says they found some glitches I'll take their word for it and update now.

I have thousands of tweaks, and I noticed no diferance with the patch.
However, it is just a good thing to update your game whether you have the bug or not

What patch? Where can we find this patch. The Microsoft support web site for FSX has NOTHING about a patch??
