I got to learn everything from the begining ,but frankly we got to admit bewteen fs2002 and fs9 there wasn't enouth diferences between both ,Now we have a totaly diference in flight dynamics, and the control panels ,I still got a bit of frustrations about my local (HOLE or CRATER)Airport, But once I fly this new jet ,It a hole new world ,I being flying manualy without autopilot ,BTW wheres Is Nav1? and GPS, I can't fly in normal VOR and IFR yet (too many buttoms

Hi Alrot,

The NAV radios are down behind the throttles.. and the VOR/ILS indicators are built into the HSI.

If you need to see the GPS in virtual cockpit, just hit "shift+3"..

I don't fly jets very often.. but the improved flight dynamics really show in a jet. Make sure your realism settings are all the way up. In FS9, you could cheat a little and "drive" the plane right to the runway. In FSX, you HAVE to plan and fly your approaches more realistically. Flaring and landing a 747 in a crosswind is quite a challenge, hu ?

I'm having a blast !

Indeed !! I don't even wanna use fs9 anymore  ,That was the first possitive thing I notice ,the flight dynamics (ground effects, the Flaps actualy are working, the spoilers brakes, the crosswinds , Amazing!" while you are in the air,and mosly the G effect The VC moving toward you Like you feel the acelerations and climbing thru this new effect :D

I always set it in "Hard"  :) and I just fly most of the times Jets

even against my slow frame rate, I got to admit ,its a radical change,I hope I can afford very soon a better machine,For this new game It worth it..

Thanks Brett

Alex

Cool! I only noticed all of this with the small aviation yet, but do you still need FSnav to fly over airways?

You can file a flight-plan using airways, and it will be loaded into the GPS..

Or you can use real sectionals and charts and fly airways referencing them ..

you can really tell it has that "feel". I like how its so much better than FS9. I fly jets more often so i can tell is very apparent that its different. my slow frame rates dont hinder the effects too much, even so, i can still notice the difference. I get faster frame rates in jets than i do in GA lol. kinda weird. I wish i could find a compatible 777-200. Meljet please come back! 8)
