Hello I'm about to upgrade the computer for fsx and was wondering if you could tell me how good this rig would play FSX.  I already got all the parts for $700 but can return before I build if you guys suggest changes..

Core 2 Duo E6600
Asus SLI Nforce4 Motherboard
2GB Corsair PC 5400 RAM
EVGA Geforce 7900GT 256 MB overclocked 500/1500
600W SLI ready powersupply
Raptor HD

Let me know how this should do and if theres any bottlenecks in the setup.  I can get another 7900gt for $150 if you guys think I should do a SLI setup.

i think you should get the new nvidia 8800 gtx video card, it support dx10.
bying another 7900 is a waste of your money, but you dont have to believe me just go to the site.

your system is a ok right now you should have a good time.
but no matter what you do you will never fly fsx on max, is not your pc ,there is no computer yet that could play fsx in max not even alienware. is been publish by gamespy.

yeh he could get a 8800GTX if he wanted to spend as much on the cars as he was on the system

but that will do fine, my specs are very similar and i get 20FPS locked almost everywhere except for big cities where it drops to around 14

There are computers which can max out fsX. The parts, well, are things like R600 :D
