I voted "Not as good as what you wanted it to be "
I am globally very statisfied by FSX, it keeps what FS9 had, and adds a lot of new functionnalities.

But on the other hand, it lacks some stuff that a lot of people was really expecting, like the flight models and the ATC with emergency procedures, etc...

i mainly said better than wat i wanted, because i did't want much more out of FS9 than missions and better graphics...

dont get me wrong, its not that i'm simple, its just that i wasn't expecting much from MS.

Thats the good thing about being a pessemist, ya dont expect much, ya wont be dissapointed as much.  (downside: ya dont live as long... :()

Should change the word "wanted" to "expected" there is no way any sim will be way more than I want :)

But the first choice will soon be in the lead with people voting and posting their usual "more headaches than I wanted", "more money than I wanted", "more problems than I wanted" etc.... ;)

Still too early to make up my mind... ;)...!

It certainly seems to be a much larger step leap than it was for the previous versions of FS, using our existing hardware at the time...:o...!

Making the changes from FS 2000 to FS 2002 to FS 2004 was more gradual, and our hardware coped with it easily with only minor, reasonably priced upgrades...if at all!... :-*...!

So, for all round playability I am still using FS 2004, (with all my lovely non-transferable add-ons), on a daily basis, until I find it imperitive to spend an awful lot of money on harware upgrades to fully cope with FSX...
...which is rather a shame...:'(...!

My latest choices:
(a) Computer Hardware upgrade to cope with FSX.
(b) A new 88 key, hammer-action, Stage Piano/MIDI Master Keyboard, to accompany all my other musical instruments.

The Piano won, hands down... ;D...no problemo....;D...!

Paul...; Image;...cool.... 8)...!

FSX the best of the best of the best of the best, it has Much Much much better Fly dynamics, the graphics looks like moving photos.
At the begining , I wont denie I was really pist ,no boddy say anything about Vista etc, Is a tramp you buy it ,then latter, you will fell the need to buy Vista is sort of a monopoly.
But as the time goes on I'm begining to discover a new frontier in software-tecnology, what a graphic details ,I don't know why many of you still complaining Why It doesn't run in your pcs, But I have prove that this software can run in a P3 and as Katahu saids  one thing is that run and one thing is that you enjoy hes so right ,I don't have a powerfull pc to set all full graphic (only to take shots) But for a normal fly I have to set everything to very low other wise I can't fly.
Once again I invite you to check whats going on on your pc (P4d & Athlon64) It should runs and offer you nice graphic ,The work worth it.
