I make models with 3ds max, and im out of ideas to make, so i decided to ask you guys on this fourm of a good model to make(for FSX, because there arent any plane downloads so far ).

So, make some requests and ill decide what to make.

I do too with 3d max ,I have no idea about diferent mdls _interior _exterior ...separated we need a new makemdl and study first this new SDK.theres plenty of incosistencys no one has well known yet

Nice to see people like you, having the guts to make models.  8) I would never be able of doing one.  :P
However, do whatever you want, but PLEASE, PLEEEAAAAAASSSSEEEE, do it with a good clickable virtual cockpit !

Want some ideas ? Here is a list of famous and beloved planes that were NEVER EVER released in freeware with any VC, ever since FS5:
- F-4 Phantom
- Tornado
- Su-27 Flanker
- Mig-21
- C-17 GlobeMaster
- F-18 Hornet (not super hornet !)
And some other I forgot. I suggest flighters only because it may be easier for you to model than a liner.

Errr Alrot, does that mean that the VC of a plane is finally included in a separate file ? Meaning that we will finally be able to add a VC to a plane that had no VC ?  :D

auctually, yes i have noticed that, and that will be easier than the modeling of the plane so im not worried about that.

Also, i got a 3rd party .3ds to .mdl program...and i thought the 2004 makemdl worked, oh well, at least i have a working one.  Ill try to get the link to it.

Yeap but we need a new makemdl compiler,also to understand better this new map format ,have you see how many time you have to hit S to see diferent types of maps?Have you seen Just the size of the exterior map of the 747(mdl) 10mb and the interior 5mb in the old fs9 a single map like 747 Mdl was 1mb interior & exterior in a single file..

well first off for starters, once i get the sdk, ill make a model and put it ingame and just use a virtual cockpit from another plane  then once i get a hang of it then ill do it all.

Edit: Lol im lucky, im using 3ds max7, i bought the second day it was out . did u know that 3ds max 9 is already out?!?!?

And did you know that the Max scripts out do NOT work for Max 9?
