Hey there Darkstar!
well, i cant help you with the problem but i can tell you why it isnt and will not work.
Shader Model 2.0
If your graphics card doesnt support this, then the jetway animation wont work for you. an upgrade will be required to get this to work.
what graphics card do you have?
best,

Not sure that shader2.0 is a for sure thing here....I am pretty sure that I have gotten them to work with shaders set to off in my graphics card settings..... but special world animations does need to be on...

( I could be wrong on this one...sense I am unsure if the shaders were on or off when I got the gates to work)

Also, the gates work though a notation in the AC config file.... the gates should work right for the defuilt AC's but any custom or FS9 AC's will need to be updated with the proper locations of the "exits" listed in the config.

I figure also that cargo areas and fuel lacations will also have to be updated...as I have not been able to get those animations to work on non-updated FS9 AC's (when you call the fuel truck and such)

listen to me man if you are park at the damn gate and the jetway doesn't come out, thats because you have to turn of the engines first......is the truth thats how i do it.

Jet ways are the large "moving Hall ways" That moves up to the door of the aircraft for passangers to get on and off. This protects the people travelling from the elements

Could it be some jetways move in FSX and others do not?
The jetways in my installation of FSX do not work Period.

I've parked at five different FSX airports: KSEA, KORD, CYVR, etc., using default planes: B744, A320, etc.,
1.) Parked in stall after selecting parking spot
2.) Parked in stall after taxiing in
3.) Engines off
4.) Brakes set
5.) SHFT-E (1,2,3,4,) hatches open

CTRL+J = nothing (no jetway moves)
CTRL+F = we're number one for fuel and truck arrives
(the fuel truck proves the keyboard is still working)

All FSX sliders maxed including Animations checked ON

mine work fine even at 3 fps... :(

my engines are on, i opened the exits, and pressed ctrl+J.
simple as that. but i tried this by starting at the gate in the 747, you might not be in the area needed for the jetway to work, you might be at the wrong size gate, i don't know.
