With a little doubs (still) I just bough it hours ago ,I' was very exceptical and having a bad Idea about FSX ,Here I am to tell you with all responsability that MS FSX its capable to run in almost every computer like MS saids in the minimun requirements,Stop being confusing and put your brain to work a little bit, for the good of all of you.

I'm happy with my fsX, my new, C2D E6700 at 4ghz, two gb RAM and a Geforce 8800GTS rig tears through fsX.

thank you, i know what you mean.
im not having problems with my fsx, but i do want to get a better vid card "nvidia7950dx2" to be precise, my pc could take it so why not.
i dont want to buy this card for fsx is for me i like high quality and 1g 512bits pci express makes my heart beat faster.  thanks for caring, please email me i will like to chat with you .

I wasn't aware that the geForce 8 cards were released yet.

They aren't. A few shops in Aussie have them, so I made a few phone calls and managed to get one. :D

Official release date is tomorow, the 8th I think.

I did some tweeking, replaced textures with re-sized ones and am having very little problems with mine (see "missing textures on aircraft" thread)
I will need to upgrade the vid card, but I am still happy withe the $70 I spent.

Even though I have done some tweaks on the Autogen Scenery (trees), I am still finding that my nVidia G-Force 6600GT card with its 128 Mb is still desperately short of on-card memory for nice, smooth Auto-gen...!
It looks like I need a GPU with 256Mb, or even 512 Mb of memory, before I run short... :o...!

Thanks DizZa you got my idea ,and this LOL, what about one of those new PCI express video cards  ;D wait until the 2Gb of memory 320 bits came out  and also triple core Pentium 5 gets release in the year 2010 ,Maybe this will make runs FSX  ;D ;D ;D
