help please with water problem

for some reason i get this dodgy thing going on with my water in FSX, i get it on any of the settings 2 + anyone have any idea how i can fix it

hmm... erm....thanks....
seriously now people. anyone know of anything i can do to stop this and still keep atleast scenery settings 2 low

If I am not mistaken, this is precisely the task of the ansotropic filtering to prevent this kind of textures "pixelization".
Try increasing the AF on your card.
Also, don't forget that if you are running an NVidia, but set your driver quality on "Performance" or "Best Performance", the AF and AA will not perform as good as they should.

its set to quality its default.....
il try playing with differant level of AA and AF and see if i can sort it out

You might also want to play with your draw distance setting. The close in water looks OK but it gets fuzzed further out. Of course setting it to draw further out will mean more hit on the system resources.

i played with the AF and AA if i turn filtering of in game and force it on my video card it doesnt work... everything jsut goes fuzzy its realy gay.
and i will now try playing with draw distance

Fiddle with Adaptive Anti-Aliasing, AF, and AA. Keep the AF ingame at Anisotropic though.
