greatly improve fps

hay ive found a way to make it farly good but some might not want to do this. i figured out that if you use aircraft from fs9 the game runs much more smothly. for me this is an acceptible solution for now untill i can upgrade and handle thaose great aircraft. try using you favorite addon aircraft. but you need to use pannels from fsx, some ac might have problems. so far it has worked for me. but untill i can get a new videocard or somthing else to help i cant use the default aircraft with out making the game choppy and slow

And seriously, if anyone uses my suggestion to copy over PAI stuff from FS2004 and delete the FSX default flight plans, you'll find that PAI is easier on FR as well.

What if you continue using the FSX planes, but lower their settings, and disable their special effects ?

The trouble then is that the textures look such a mess they spoil your sim in spot view

no ive tried it the other way low everything else good air craft. i am much happier with the way i have it. i strongly sugest doing so. the default fsx aircraft are great but the low frame rates just are too much they spoil the fun
