Is there some people which have already got FSX, I know the release date is October 17 but some people are getting it earlier, they only way I could possibally think is, it may be pirated or boot-leged? ::)

Actually, it's simply because the store clerks at the local Best Buy was simply dumb enough to not check the release dates before putting them up on the shelves. ::)

I got it at Best Buy on one side of town, while on the other side of town, they had just explained to me why they couldn't sell it.  Oh well, I'm not complaining. ;)

About two weeks ago, a lot of Best Buy and Wal Mart stores received it and put it up.....  After all, what good is a product laying around in their boxes?  It's just inventory that's not moving, and it's not earning its keep...

Maybe the next FS won't be released to Wal MArt and Best Buy until the day it's to be released ... :)

Well, the 17th is coming up in less than a day for us crazy yanks. I'm betting there's a few FS fans camping in front of Best Buy, EB Games, etc. in much the same way as those crazy Starwars folks. ;D

I was in Circuit City about three hours ago following up on a job application and I saw one guy setting up his tent. Rather sad actually. :P

How can it be pirated? before it installs you have to enter a cd-key and  the installer checks it with a microsoft database to make sure it (the cd-key) was issued by microsoft.

lol....don't be so naive KDSM......it is almost a forgone conclusion that it will be "cracked" in a very short space of time............as does all software. Software costing many hundreds of pounds such as Photoshop etc etc.........is easily obtainable for free if you look around and "borrowed" copies can be installed and run on any number of machines........Tryout copies are also made to work permanently even though they are only supposed to work for a week or two...........

Even FS9 has it's "No CD" file.................why would FSX be any different...................commoner ;)

You're right, of course, but the fact is that the vast majority of flightsimmers will put up the money to purchase and activate their copy of FS-X.

At least it isn't like Autocad used to be (I think) that it needed a hardware device with which to use it!
