I'm guessing that since the Euro is stronger than the Dollar at the moment, you Europeans have to pay a bit more. Sucks to be rich, eh? ;D

In your neck of the woods pirating films etc is very big business. I was able to buy a film some years ago on dvd before its release to the cinemas!!!  I suspect at that price your copy of FSX will be just that, a "copy" If it works lucky you!!!! If it doesn't then you will get what you paid for!!!

...as for me....

There is one very important question which I need a definitive answer to before I even consider purchasing FSX....

Will it install and run on computers which do not have Windows XP Service Pack 2 installed*...?

If not, then it's no good for me... :'(...!

Paul... 8)...!

* ...don't ask... ;)...!

I think we've got the point.

My advice would be to order from the US, or anywhere else you can (permitting that delivery costs don't exceed the price!).

Paul, it's been a well known fact for nearly two months now that FSX will require Win XP SP/2 fully up-to-date, or better...  :P

Why? Sp2 does nothing wrong, all good things.

Last news from my Boss, as I'm part of a italian website of FS payware add-on reviews, my FSX deluxe will come free. ;D

Shame the boss refuses hardheadedly to ship me the hardware to make it work too. :(

Seems a moot point, but with FSX I'll have to work (in a way) and I already know the on my rig the FPS and smoothness will suffer badly.

Anyway, here in this electronic forsaken peninsula the price goes between the 70~80 for the standard and 99~109 for the deluxe.

I'll have to think about an upgrade... :-/

If you want new bits to make FSX work find an excuse to goto London  and visit one of the monthly computer fairs.  Over the years I have bought components for at least 6 rebuilds amounting to half price compared to the shops both in UK and here. I'm thinking of doing the same either before Christmas or early next year in order to build a system for Vista.
