It would look a lot more better if you had a rescue chopper in that shot.

The ground textures just havent loaded yet. See that frequently in 04 when you move the eyepoint to mesh not already seen. Also happens alot with Recorder when fast forwarding a flight.

actually ive been flying like 10 min like that. Some strange problem happened with FSX install so i uninstalled it. Now as i've tested the demo its time to go back to the ol' FS9

Yeah you will see some strange textures it you fly out of the "official" demo area.
I get the same tsumami textures in one area if I stray too far.

no matter what it is, it is still very interesting, i wonders if scenery desingers could harness this interesting effect, and model floods, and rainy seasons in places like amazon or other rain forests
just thinking about the possibilitys glichtes sometimes provide!

Yes it would be fitting for many "wetland" areas
