Hmmm, that's too bad, since most planes I fly on have de-ice equipment (de-ice boots, which I have installed probably 10 boots in my short career). I guess the Cessna 310 has alcohol anti-ice, but I've never flown on those. At that point, one must realize that the alcohol tank only hold so much, and will run out on long flights (which is probably also not correctly portrayed), so is not a viable option for long flight into known icing conditions.
Well, I guess that since FS is so lower 48 based/thought up, many common Alaska issues will not be dealt with. Example: dog legged runways, animals on the runway, bird strikes, snow/icing, slippery surfaces in the winter, the actual amount of air traffic (a lot) ect. ect.
My two biggest things are the elevation change dog legged runways (on a hill with a corner) and icing. But I digress, I know most people don't either think of this or don't care about it. Remember, according to some people, Alaska isn't on the same continent as the rest of the states (hence the phrase "Continental United States" which we supposedly do not apply), or are not of the country even. If you don't believe me, try to ship something here.

You'll notice the aircraft on my avatar has de-ice boots. I might also add that it does not have a switch on it that has the words anti-ice, so I guess that plane is no good into known icing either in FS. :P
