...but I've uploaded them on another site since I couldn't get it to resize to 800 pixels width without losing the image quality.

Is it alright if I post the LINKS to these pics I've uploaded on an external site?

You can use an image editor such as Irfanview to resize & edit filesize. There is NO reason for any image to be over 60-100K. The resolution difference is barely noticeable if you use a good editor to reduce filesize. If your image does not meet the above requirements, it will be deleted.
