Me too.. I actually went to bed, but decided to screw that and wait till it finished so I did.

And the graphics are amazing!

BUT!


P4 3.4 GHz
2048 Mb PC3200 RAM
256 Mb GeForce 6800GT


Medium settings = 15 FPS...  :(

Yah, I bet those new graphics GPU's will boost up the frames lol! I was expecting to see people's performance to be low and what's odd is this is only the demo, imagine what the full version will be like... he he he!

I tried to max it out, the result was incridible graphics, 5 FPS, and some weird colours (graphic error) and then a reboot.

Well damn, now I might as well not download the thing at all.  I can expect to see a similar frame count...

It's a demo AND it's a beta... It's a demo of a beta, were you seriously expecting good performance ?  ;D

The sim is designed for a minimum x800xt+ or a high 6XXXX Nvidia card but preferaby a 7XXX series with a dual core processor... single core @ 2.2+ gig. It will require SLI to display impressive and quad SLI DX10 with quad CPU to max it out (not available yet).


Although it is not a full package, the demo is not the issue, I can assure you



I have been posting for quite some time what FSX will want to see for reasonable visuals and game play. Like any other MS release, it is designed to sell hardware and add-ons.
