No, some have stated that their addons are guaranteed to be FSX compliant

Well assuming there'll be a more than likely "Aircraft" folder, we mite certianly use FS9 aircraft. Addon Scenery folders may be a different story. Even so there may be know options for adding scenery folders to the database. But then again, 19 hours to wait and see from now...

MS has been working hard to try to ensure compatability. I think the aircraft will work no prob.

Eaglesoft has already made an fsX plane. Not sure if finished :)

Yes, "we were outted" by ACES during their Press Preview event, but none of us can say more than that... ;)

Why would the demo be released to a couple of wesites that use pay perscription, although there is a free download option. Why not MS's own website, or at FSinsider.
Seems very un-MS-ish to let people make money from an MS product??

On the contrary, MS never understood the concept of freeware or people doing something for the love of it.

Let me get this straight.....MS wants to market FSX to the masses.....release a demo.... but only on a pay site?
