Is there something missing?

Hi.
From the recent screens (or if you got to play it at conventions), has there been anything in FSX that seems to be missing, that you would love to have? (Please, not scenery, aircraft, just general items (autogen: trees, buildings, etc.))
I've noticed that even tho cars change lanes, there are no road markings (center, bike lanes, normal lane markings).

Come to think about it, if I fly over phuket, will the cars drive on the left side, like in real life, or will they drive on the right side, like in the US?

C'mon, it's designed in the states. So all ground vehicles will be L/H drive.

So.
Burnout Revenge was made in the states, yet, when you raced on the streets in asia, the cars drove on oposite sides of the road.

Sorry to sound rude, but this is a FlightSimulator, with a few million roads. Not a racing game with costomized levels and just a circular road?
How about adding better features to the game other than which side the cars drive on?

To answer your curiosity about the road markings, here is a opinion me [an FS fan who makes cars and drives them]. Since Microsoft has finally straightened out the roads in FSX, I don't care about the road markings just as long as the roads are straight [in which they are]. Besides, I'm pretty sure some addon developer would come up with some better road textures like Vistaoz did.
Now to answer to second curiosity. Yes, they will be driving on the "correct" sides of the roads according to which country they are in. You should re-read all the previews posted by SimFlight, Flight Sim and AvSim. I'm pretty sure the information is there somewhere.
http://simflight.com/modules.php?name=N ... e&sid=8177Read the second paragraph titled "earth reinvented". The information is in there. If Microsoft can make the animals and shipping lanes move according to their real-life counterparts, then I'm pretty sure that they can make the cars move accordingly.

Well, ACES did say they were paying more attention to detail... They mapped out more than 10,000 friggin stars!

Not to mention migrational paths...

well, in Train Simulator, the cars drive on the right side of the road depending on the country (left in japan and the UK, right in the states)

Both Train sim and Burnout revenge(i only need 38 more golds and i beat the game), AWESOME GAMES!!!
just remember the tax on the system itself because of this.i'm still waiting on smart gates to go to the door.
*thinks of a gate pulling up to a cessna

*
what i haven't noticed is any new ATC items. they've mentioned nothing about it.

Burnout is definatly a great game. completed 3 times (once for myself, twice 4 my friends).
And that is a shame they didn't do much with the ATC.
(Hope they upgrade the voices tho)

From what I've seen, FSX seems just about perfect to me. One thing I would've liked to see, though, is real-world airlines. Obviously this can be fixed with AI packages/repaints, but it would've been nice to get all that right out the box. Also, like Ramos mentioned, I hope we get gates that pull up to your plane when you park (though from the looks of it, we may actually get those).
As far as ATC goes, the lack of updates doesn't really bother me that much. Half the time, I don't even use it.

Actually, you will get gates which adjust to door height and pull up to your plane:
mms://70.85.182.98/airsidetv/fs10feature.wmv^ is a video of an MS ACES FS guy talking about FSX.
Cool stuff...

It's a funny old do...
But no-one had ever heard of Phuket until the Tsunami in SE Asia in 2004...>>>
http://www.csmonitor.com/2004/1227/p01s02-woap.htmlIt's now a famous word I often use whenever hit my thumb with a hammer...

Oh yah, did I mention I live in phuket. I lived through the tsunami (barely anything happened actually, warning tower still dam loud...)
