[*]C172
[*]Beech 58 (far better modeled though, and in classic 'beech' scheme)

Features so far:
[*]Snow landing possible if you have skis, might be a new addition.

Planes are:

DG-808S High performance sailplane.
747-400
Cessna 172
Grumman Goose (or Mallard ;))
learjet 45
Beech Baron
Ultralight Trike
Bell 206 Jetranger
Extra 300
Maule
Dehavilland Beaver
Maybe a Global Express
Airbus A321

I know the liveries for airliners are:
World travel
American pacific
Landmark
Orbit
and Soar

The game makes full use of fragment shaders.

You can go into space

ATC sound is improved

On mediam settings the Terrain mesh resolution is 76metre.

Airport vehicles

e3 was on a single 7800GTX

Road vehicles

Ships and ferries

Leisure boats

2d panels can be transparent

Higher resolution Virtual cockpits

Light bloom

WIngflex

Missions

Before you click fly now, actual scenery is displayed in the window that displays your plane

Aircraft cast shadows on itself

Multithreaded

Won't be optimized for dual card solutions (SLI & crossfire)

Cloud shadows

The CES demo video is on a rare 512mb X850XT PE with the computer running on Vista.

Hope this helps :)

My favourites are light bloom, clouds shadows, framentation shaders, X850XT PE part (my graphics card)

Well the space shuttle could be added, would be a nice adittion since it is one of the "planes" that made history :)

Of course no dreams about ISS connections, but anyway...maybe in future release MS will allow connections between aircraft, allowing thus the space shuttle attached to the ISS, or any bomber launching the X15 (what's the name for this stuf... is that "mothership" or something like that ?)

Ahhhh... already wainting for FSXI

Last thing: I wouldn't be too optimistic for the Maule on skis... I mean, for sure it will be in the game, but I think it will still be possible to land on the snow (and takeoff of course) with wheels.... but I would be glad to be wrong :)

It's good to have a thread that can remind everyone ono what we have now seen and confirmed. I kept seeing some posts asking the same questions over and over on many forums when the questions were answered and confirmed many moons ago.

there's been word that the weather engine has been completely reworked... don't see much difference grafically, but if they can get rid of that invisible visibility barrier, (you know, you're flying in clear skies and all of the sudden, you're in peasoup) i'll be more than happy :)

The sailplane isn't a Schweizer, and I don't think its a Widgeon, but a Grumman Goose.

The Grumman Goose is one of the new SEA Plane.  If you read the name in FS9, of the schweizer, it says SAIL plane.
