I'll buy the deluxe version only if it contains a hard copy manual.
I am sick of blowing pages of my printer paper, and ink on printing out the stuff I need only to end up losing it and having to reprint everything.
Would it kill them to make a manual like 2002 or 2000 which ever it was.
How many first time simmers just give up out of frustration from the lack of an included printed manual and never buy another MSFS again.?
Not much I guess coonsidering that much of the help is now mostly provided by the never-ending and ever-growing FS community like SimViation. Tell me, can you look at me straight in the eye and tell me that an average manual provided by M$ with FS will tell me what to do if I wanted to make my own aircraft for FS? And don't forget that I was able to understand the flight sim's user interface [it's easy as heck] and I never even bothered to look at the digital manual because of the UI's simplicity.
Becides, I don't care about the manual nowadays. It was never much use to me anyways other than to be used as a door stop.
I was referring to first time simmers. Most don't even know about the sim sites at first. These are the ones that MS wants to broaden the market with and are also the ones who need an included printed manual most.
I stand by my previous comments.

Only 2000 had a hard manual.
2002 has a "manual" but it only has basic, basic, basic commands.
Then they give you a disk with the real manual.
I just winged it (no pun intended)
No, FS98 had a large, comprehensive manual complete with simplified sectional charts of major cities.
(slightly off-topic- I hope someone makes a freeware L1011 for FS X,as I had a lot of fun in FS2004 with a freeware L1011.)
Psst.....you can, hopefully, use 2004 aircraft in FSX
Return to Flight Simulator X (FSX) and Steam
